Technical

  • Sphere is an existing fabricated LED Display
    piece
  • The Sphere main support frame is fabricated in
    1.5″ x 1.5″ x .065″ Structural Steel
  • Several splines are CNC from 1/8″ Steel Plate
  • Each spline is rotated around and supported
    by CNC round 1/8″ steel plates that are welded
    to steel tubes coming from the main frame in
    several layers
  • Splines are constructed in a “T”
    shape to accept custom flexible LED panels
  • Sphere can be hung from the top opening with
    rigging to a heavy duty forged eye bolt. It is
    attached to a 3/16″ steel plate that is welded to
    steel tubes within the upper main frame
  • Sphere can also be ground supported with
    existing steel base
  • Sphere is fully enclosed with custom sized
    video wall LED panels. Each level of steel plates
    house electronics that power and operate the
    several external LED panels
  • Weight of completed sphere is 3000lbs
