AFP SUPERCHASSIS 3G/HD/SD-SDI 2-CHANNEL MODULE

The AFP SuperChassis™ 20-Slot 2RU Optical Platform is a versatile, space-efficient solution designed for high-performance signal transport, media conversion, and optical patching across broadcast, telecom, and military applications. This modular optical chassis supports both passive and active modules, allowing users to combine protocol-agnostic through-patching with advanced media conversion in a single unified frame.

Equipped with 20 hot-pluggable powered slots, each with independently isolated power, the SuperChassis offers unmatched configuration flexibility. It supports NTOS single-mode and multi-mode optical jacks, as well as powered media converters across a wide range of signal formats including SMPTE SDI, Ethernet (FE/GbE), serial data (RS-232/422/485), T1/T3, MADI, and video formats (DVI, HDMI, SDI, composite).

The system features redundant 150W hot-swappable power supplies, front-panel OLED displays for module ID/status, and Ethernet-based remote diagnostics—with optional Wi-Fi or Bluetooth monitoring for remote access. Modules and SFPs are fully hot-swappable, and external powering is supported for standalone use.
