The Angenieux EZ-2 15-40mm Cinema Zoom Lens is a lightweight, high-performance lens featuring a constant, ultra-fast T2.6 aperture with no ramping or focus breathing. Designed to rival prime lenses in optical quality, it supports both Super35 and Full Frame/Vista Vision formats via interchangeable rear lens groups. With a 2.7x zoom ratio, 2-foot close focus distance, and a consistent 114mm front diameter, it integrates seamlessly with standard cine matte boxes. The 320° focus rotation provides over 50 precise witness marks (in feet or meters) for accurate focus control. Available in PL or EF mount, it’s also compatible with Angenieux’s 1.4x and 2x PL extenders, making it a versatile tool for professional cinematographers.
