The Meyer Sound UM-1P is a compact, self-powered stage monitor engineered for professional live sound applications requiring exceptional clarity, control, and reliability. Featuring a 12″ cone driver and 3″ diaphragm compression driver, the UM-1P delivers a full-range response with flat amplitude and phase characteristics—ideal for vocal and instrument monitoring.

Powered by a dedicated class AB/bridged amplifier with 700 watts total output, the UM-1P provides robust, distortion-free performance. It reaches up to 133 dB peak SPL at 1 meter while maintaining superb intelligibility, thanks to TruPower limiting that prevents over-excursion and regulates voice coil temperature for consistent output.

Its narrow 45° x 45° coverage pattern ensures precise sound focus with minimal interference between adjacent monitors. A Constant-Q horn maintains uniform frequency response and beam width across the operating range. The Intelligent AC power supply offers automatic voltage selection, EMI filtering, transient suppression, and soft startup for touring-grade reliability.

Optional integration with Meyer’s RMS monitoring system allows real-time visibility into amplifier and limiter performance via a Windows-based interface—enhancing system control in demanding live environments.
